Using Audit History to troubleshoot adds, edits, and deletes

AppSheet's Audit History is a record of recent interactions between users of your app and the AppSheet backend. It contains an entry for every add, edit, delete, and sync the user performs. This can be useful to debug issues where a user says they synced their changes but no changes seem to have been recorded.

Check Audit History as follows:

  1. Open your application in the Editor.
  2. Go to the Manage>Monitor tab and click "Audit History". Then click "Fetch audit records".
  3. Look for audit records with an "Action" value of "Add row", "Edit row" or "Delete row".
  4. Click the "Details" icon to see the outcome of the action.
